Executive coaching is about personal and professional development. It focuses on how to be conscious and intentional with your life. This results in clients seeing and creating positive outcomes.

Edge Coaching has a six month executive coaching package. Goals are discussed and timelines to achieve these goals are set at the beginning of the coaching process. Each package is customized specific to the client’s wants and needs.

What should I look for in a coach?

Do your due diligence and take the time to research your coach. Read their biography, spend time on their website, look for reviews and past client feedback. Additionally, find out about their coaching certification and experience. This will help assure you are making an informed decision.

Do you work with clients outside of North Carolina?

Absolutely. Phone sessions are available for clients living in the United States and Canada. Additionally, Michelle Ellwanger travels to facilitate corporate retreats, give speaking presentations and provide 3 day coaching intensives.

Do you offer single coaching sessions?

We do not offer single coaching sessions. Coaching is about developing a relationship to facilitate the process of change and growth. This requires time which is why we ask our clients to commit to the coaching process.

Do you provide employee coaching?

We do work for companies needing employee coaching. For employee coaching to be successful, we ask three questions suggested by executive coach Marshall Goldsmith:

1) Is the change the company is looking for behavioral? If the change needed is ethical or intellectual, coaching will not work.

2) Is the employee willing to change? If the employee does not see a reason to change and does not care, change is less likely to occur and coaching results will be compromised.

3) Is the company willing to give the employee a fair chance? If coaching is only being used as a formality and the company already plans on terminating the employee, then coaching is not being used for its intended purpose.
